Genital Wart Treatment
Genital warts caused by the human papilloma virus (HPV) are usually sexually transmitted and highly contagious. The warts can be found in and around the vagina, anus, penis, groin and scrotal areas. Some strains of HPV have been associated with cancer of the cervix and other cancers so gynecological examination and pap tests every 6 months are important to monitor the condition.
